West Sumatra, Indonesia

Village land records that neighbours can check.

We help village councils record plot boundaries, handover signatures and transfers, so a sale, an inheritance or a dispute is settled from the same record.

Corner by corner, signature by signature

NW

Survey

The council walks the plot with two neighbours and marks each corner.

NE

Register

The boundary record is written and signed before any paper is issued.

SW

Transfer

A sale or inheritance is entered with the witnesses who saw it.

SE

Review

Once a year the village checks that every plot still matches its neighbours.

Inside one plot record

Boundary points
Each corner is recorded with a surveyor's note, so the plan can be redrawn later from the same figures.
Witness signatures
Neighbours and the village head sign each change. A change without signatures does not enter the record.
Transfer history
Every sale, gift or split keeps its own line, so the chain from the first owner to today reads in order.

Raised at the council meeting

Who signs a boundary change?

The neighbours on each side, the person selling or inheriting, and the village head.

Do you issue land titles?

No. We keep the signed record that a land office or village council can rely on. Title stays with the authority.

What happens to old paper records?

We check them against the boundary points and mark any gaps for the council to settle in person.
